NRU Status Report No. 70

Chalk River Information Bulletin

(2010 August 17) The following information bulletin is in accordance with Atomic Energy of Canada Limited's (AECL) ongoing commitment to voluntary public disclosure of events related to the Chalk River Laboratories (CRL).

AECL reports that it has concluded low-power testing on the NRU reactor. As a result, the reactor is now operating at high power and can begin to create medical isotopes. 
 
AECL will continue to provide updates as new information becomes available.
